Is age ‘nothing but a number’; or like math is it a simple idea that gets complicated?

The May-to-December relationship has long been a source of intrigue in popular media. These relationships are one of the most publicly criticised and harshly judged forms of love. But what is it about relationships between two people with a significant age gap that drives the tendency to condemn them? Let’s take a look at the May-to-December marriage through the eyes of the younger spouse and investigate whether the social commentary and scientific research stack up against my real-life experiences of love with my older man.
